			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>LAHORE: Lahore High Court (LHC) Thursday sought record on all the references against Interior Minister Rehman Malik, Geo News reported.The LHC issued the order for submitting the record on the petition filed by Advocate Imtiaz Qureshi.The petition has challenged the act of pardoning Rehman Malik by President Zardari.The lawyer of Imtiaz Qureshi told LHC that the court had upheld Rehman Malik?s punishment but President Zardari, misusing his constitutional rights, had it waived. Rehman Malik did not even fulfill the constitutional and legal requirements for pardoning of the punishment, the petition further said.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p><img src='http://geo.tv/4-21-2011/eng/4-21-2011_80629_l.jpg' width='58px' height='44px' align='left' hspace='5' vspace='5'>KARACHI: At least thirteen people have been killed while 35 sustained injures in a powerful blast that ripped through Rami Club building near Ghaas Mandi area in Lyari locality of metropolis on Thursday, Geo News reported.Police and Law Enforcement Agencies (LAEs) have made to the explosion site and are carrying out rescue activities.Rescue sources said thirteen people have been confirmed dead and over 30 injured in the explosion.Most injured have been shifted to Civil Hospital, as death toll is feared to rise further, said hospital sources. Emergency has been declared at Civil HospitalMedico Legal Officer (MLO) said that more than twelve people have died and 35 injured have been admitted to Civil Hospital so far.Police are trying to determine the nature of blast. No dead man has been identified as yet.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p><img src='http://geo.tv/4-21-2011/eng/4-21-2011_80621_l.jpg' width='58px' height='44px' align='left' hspace='5' vspace='5'>SANGHAR: Three central leaders of Jeay Sindh Qaumi Mahaz (JSQM), a nationalist party, were burnt alive when some armed men, allegedly belonging to an ethnic group settled in Sindh, opened fires and later set their car on fire near Sanghar on Thursday afternoon, Geo News reported. Reports reaching here said Rooplo Choliani, Sirai Qurban and Noorullah Tunio were coming in an Alto car from Khipro town to district headquarter town Sanghar. The culprits who were chasing them opened fires on car and then torched it, as a result Rooplo Choliani and Serai Qurban and Noorullah burnt alive in the car. The assailants also resorted to aerial firing to stop the people who wanted to come closer and save the lives of JSQM leaders. The incident took place at about 1.00p.m. Soon after the incident, the police cordoned the area and started searching the assailants.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>ISLAMABAD: Seventy-one Pakistanis have been languishing in India?s Amritsar jail even after completion of their sentence, the National Assembly was told Thursday.During the question hour, the lower house was informed by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs that 5 Pakistani students were serving time in different cases in the US, Canada an Europe.One of the detainees is Abid Naseer is accused of having links with al-Qaeda. The National Assembly was told that 57,718 visas were issued during 2008 and 2010 by Pakistani Missions in 52 countries. Of these, 14842 visas were issued in UK while 3045 in the US.</p>

Bomb disposal squad has also been called in.The rescue sources have put the death toll at sixteen and the injured at 35 in the explosion.Most of the injured have been shifted to Civil Hospital where emergency has been declared, said hospital sources. One of the injured has been rushed to Jinnah Hospital. Over 10 injured people are said to be critical in condition.The Medico Legal Officer (MLO) at Civil Hospital said that more than 12 dead bodies were brought in besides more than 30 injured.The police are trying to ascertain the nature of the blast. No dead or injured man has been identified as yet.Police and rangers are now resorting to baton charge to disperse people to facilitate rescue activities.</p>
