Just charges the iPhone’s built in battery.
Comment made on March 21st, 2010 at 12:51 amDoes it even extend the battery life? Or is it just a charger?
Comment made on March 21st, 2010 at 1:38 amThis would be great, but they NEED to sell the charger ALONE! So i can buy the case, with charger and an extra changer, one for work and one for home….
Comment made on March 21st, 2010 at 1:56 amYou haven’t placed it next to your bed to see if it’s going to bother you sleeping does a watch “click” noise bother you when you place it next to your bed ? Can anyone in this planet hear that ticking noise from a watch when they lay down to go to sleep ? Maybe superman ?
Comment made on March 21st, 2010 at 2:50 amLooks really solid Larry. Way prettier than that ugly Powermat. LOL. Wish it was a lower price for only one device though…. That clicking sound is kinda similar on the Powermat. It’s like a low buzz. REALLY irritating while sleeping. WildCharge doesn’t do that, but the case is the ugliest thing in the world. Caste-Mate knows how to design. I usually hate that top piece on the Juice Pack Air, but it looks way better than JPA and also how it looked at CES. Great review buddy. 3k. WOO!!!
Comment made on March 21st, 2010 at 3:17 amGreat vid Larry. Looks great but I am a little dissapointed that it does not have the ability to sync with the case on but maybe version 2.
Comment made on March 21st, 2010 at 3:58 amnot having a passthrough sync is a showstopper for me.
Wireless power is for convenience. But I sync often.
5 stars to you for the review and that key piece of info.
a “false” is as informative as a ‘true” in the search for knowledge.
Comment made on March 21st, 2010 at 4:38 amAwesome case! I want to ask about the speakers though… and the other side of the speakers (where it senses the pressure of your breath) how would those work? Coz I did see small cutouts at the bottom assuming those are for the speakers.

Comment made on March 21st, 2010 at 5:53 amgreat review, but 100 bucks for a charger seems like a lot to me.
Comment made on March 21st, 2010 at 6:33 ami always use silicone cases because i dont want the risk of scratching the phone, so i don’t know if hard cases like this scratch/mark/scuff the phone.
Comment made on March 21st, 2010 at 6:49 amGreat review! I might get one of these. I just hope the next iPhone is the same size/shape…

Comment made on March 21st, 2010 at 10:16 amJust like any slider style case it’s not a good idea to use it with a phone that has a back skin installed.
